Installations vary depending on the use of the premises and the availability of the area for us to complete the installation uninterrupted. Generally, we require un restricted access to the working are and this often impacts on the operations of stock movements etc while we work.
In order to mitigate this, we typically work out of hours or close of certain sections at a time so that the normal business operations can continue unimpeded.
For indoor, hand applied line marking projects:
The material were installing also plays an important factor with installation rates. While spray application of the lines is extremely fast indoors, we typically find that the finish isn’t to the standard we expect and a hand finish is generally more aesthetically pleasing.
For outdoor line marking:
The biggest factor affecting outdoor line marking installation speed is the weather, the surface and the amount of setting out required before the lining can start.
We accept most major cards, bank transfer, BACS, PayPal and cheque.
As a general rule, indoor line marking projects have a minimum investment of £1500. This covers floor preparation (usually by means of shot blasting) application of the anti-slip line markings and final sealing before the line markings are handed back, ready for continued use.
We recommend budgeting for out of hours costs if you are unable to close the area to be worked on during a normal working day (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm). All other hours are considered out of hours and typically costs at least £599 per out of hours shift.
For example, a small 100m warehouse line marking project completed on Monday (8am-5pm) will start at £1500.
The same project completed on a Saturday, will start at £2099. (£1500 minimum investment + £599 out of hours)
This is of course, the minimum investment and in order to get an accurate figure for your project, you are best getting a formal quote. Typically, your project is based on the number of square meters of line marking installed.
